Susan Fredman, a design guru in her own right, introduces her urban collection to the public through a retail point of view. Her interior design practice has grown over the past thirty years to include two studios in Chicago and Union Pier. The Union Pier studio includes a retail store, which houses her collection of home items geared towards retreat living.
In Fall of 2008 her second store was launched to highlight her urban flair. Located just steps away from the Merchandise Mart, this retail venue boasts an air of sophistication and edginess. While Fredman is known for her innate love of nature, even her existing clients will be surprised by how she will integrate nature into the art of design in her new urban setting. The flow of the store is open with areas resembling rooms of a home. The store is peppered with everything one needs to create a lifestyle of luxury within an urban landscape. The store is attached to Fredman’s flagship Design Studio where designers are on hand to answer any design related questions or assist customers in finding their “homes” desire. The merchandise, selected from this designer’s edited eye, includes some private label items which are carried exclusively at this location. The store is not for the bashful or the weak at heart. It is a shopping experience which integrates turn key services and the absolute best of the best.

Right off Red Arrow Highway in the heart of Michigan’s Harbor Country, Susan Fredman’s At Home With Nature is a retail store and fully custom capable design center. With a complete kitchen and bath center and professional designers on staff, this unique home store has it all! At Home With Nature carries unique items including custom furniture, luxurious bed linens, decorative mirrors, European bath and body products, kitchen and table top décor, decorative hardware, custom rugs, one of a kind artwork by local artists, hand-crafted lamps and so much more. Our store also features At Home With Nature’s signature fabric collection of cottage chic prints, stripes and solids (featured in Architectural Digest).
